Beskrivelse:

Canto.

The vedic scriptures narrate of Gods innumerable incarnations, who descend to the material plane in each age to re-establish religious principles, which tend to be forgotten in the course of time, to please the righteous devotees, and to annihilate the demoniac influences, which like weeds are always a disturbance in human society.

On Nrsimha Caturdasi we celebrate the appearance of Nrsimhadeva, which occurred in a bygone age. The amazing narrations of the circumstances for His descend, His wonderful pastimes, and His deeply emotional exchanges with His devotee Prahlada Maharaja can be found to this day in the 7. Canto of Srimad-Bhagavatam. So before the festival you can do your homework to get into the proper mood.

If you scroll down you will find links to a good article on the incarnation of Nrsimha and a nice kirtan also. See you in the temple!
